Short Information of Post:

Coal India Limited (CIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking, has released the official notification for Coal India Industrial Trainee Recruitment 2026. A total of 125 Industrial Trainee (CA/CMA) posts will be filled across Coal India Limited headquarters and its subsidiary companies. Eligible candidates who have passed CA Intermediate or CMA Intermediate can apply online. Selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹22,000 for a training period of 15 months. The selection will be based purely on merit of CA/CMA intermediate marks. Online applications are accepted from 26 December 2025 to 15 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria – Coal India Industrial Trainee

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Intermediate Examination of:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – conducted by ICAI
  OR

• Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) – conducted by ICMAI

Candidates who have already undergone one year or more training under a similar PSU scheme are not eligible.

Stipend & Training Period

• Monthly Stipend: ₹22,000 (Fixed)

• Training Duration: 15 Months

• No extension of training is allowed

• Completion of training does NOT guarantee employment in Coal India or its subsidiaries

Selection Process – Coal India Industrial Trainee

Selection will be done purely on merit basis:

1. Marks obtained in CA / CMA Intermediate (both groups total)

2. Reservation rules applied category-wise

3. Preference given to:

   • Land Owners

   • Wards of Coal India Employees

4. Posting allotted based on:

   • Merit Rank

   • Preference of companies selected by the candidate

Tie-Breaking Rule

• Older candidate preferred

• If DOB is same, higher Class 10 marks will be considered

A waiting list of 125 candidates will also be prepared.

Facilities During Training

• Accommodation: May be provided on sharing basis if company quarters are available

• Medical: Free OPD treatment in company hospitals/dispensaries

• TA/DA: Not admissible

• Laptop: Candidate must bring own laptop
