RSPCB JSO JEE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) Eligibility and Post

Area-wise Posts:

• Non-TSP: 27

• TSP: 0

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) must have:

• First Class M.Sc./M.S. degree in any one of the following branches:

  Chemistry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, Microbiology

• Degree must be completed after B.Sc./B.S. in any Science discipline.

• The qualification must be from a University established by Law in India or any recognized foreign equivalent university.

2. Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE) Eligibility and Area wise Post

Area-wise Posts:

• Non-TSP: 72

• TSP: 1

Candidates applying for Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE) must have:

Option 1

• M.Tech./M.E. degree in Environmental Engineering
  after completing
  B.Tech./B.E. in any of the following streams: Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Environmental, Engineering, Textile Engineering

Degree must be obtained from a University established by Law in India or an equivalent foreign qualification.

OR

Option 2

• First Class B.Tech./B.E. degree in any of the above-mentioned engineering branches.

• Degree must be from a University established by Law in India or any recognized foreign equivalent.

Important Note (As per Official Notification)

• If class/division is not awarded, then a minimum of 60% aggregate marks will be considered equivalent to First Class.

• If the University follows CGPA, then it will be converted to percentage as per the University’s own conversion formula.

Pay Level (Salary Details)

• Junior Scientific Officer: Pay Matrix Level-12 as per Rajasthan Government rules.

• Junior Environmental Engineer: Pay Matrix Level-10.

• Candidates may receive fixed remuneration during the probation period as per Rajasthan Civil Services rules.

Marking Scheme

• Each correct answer = 3 marks

• Each wrong answer = 1 mark deducted

• Minimum 40% marks are required to qualify
