REET Primary Teacher (Level-1, Class 1 to 5) – Syllabus 2025 (English Version)
1. Exam Pattern
Total Marks: 300
Question Paper: 1 (single paper)
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Total Questions: 150 (all MCQs)
Negative Marking: Yes – ⅓ mark deducted for wrong answers.
Each Question: 5 options (A–E). Use blue ball-point pen to darken one option only.
If no circle is darkened → 1/3 mark cut.
Extra 10 minutes given to review answer sheet at the end.

Schemes of Rajasthan Government, educational development, RTE Act 2009 & Rules 2011, NEP 2020 (education policy), administration, and important events.

3. School Subjects
Hindi (10), English (10), Maths (10), General Science (10), Social Studies (10) – basic grammar, teaching methods, reasoning, and environmental awareness.

4. Pedagogy of Subjects
Teaching methods, learning difficulties, materials, evaluation, remedial teaching for each subject – Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Studies.

5. Educational Psychology
Meaning & scope of education, child development, individual differences, motivation, learning theories, teaching process, personality, adjustment, counseling, evaluation, teacher’s role.

6. Information Technology
Basics of computers, ICT tools, their classroom use, and social impact of technology.

3. Sanskrit Education (Level-1 Sanskrit Medium)
Similar structure (300 marks) but includes:
Rajasthan GK & Culture (100 marks)
General Knowledge, Education Policy, RTE Act (80 marks)
Sanskrit Language & Grammar (50 marks)
Pedagogy of Sanskrit Teaching (40 marks)
Educational Psychology (20 marks)
Information Technology (10 marks)

4. Key Instructions (As per Board)
Use blue pen only to mark answers on OMR sheet.
Fill only one option per question.
If you skip a question, darken option “E.”
More than 10% unanswered questions → disqualification.
