Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released SSC Junior Engineer JE admit Card Exam City and Admit Card for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Recruitment 2025. A total of 1731 vacancies were announced earlier. Candidates who have applied for SSC JE 2025 can now check their Exam City details for Paper-I and download their Admit Card through the link provided below.

SC JE Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:

Paper-I (Computer Based Exam)

• Objective type online test

• Sections included:

• General Intelligence & Reasoning

• General Awareness
• Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (as per candidate’s discipline)

• Negative marking is applicable

Paper-II (Descriptive / CBT as per latest SSC pattern)

• Based on Technical Subjects (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)

• Higher weightage in the final merit list

Document Verification (DV)

• Verification of all original documents

• Identity verification

• Category verification (if applicable)

Final Selection is based on the combined marks of Paper-I and Paper-II.

SSC JE Salary 2025

The salary for the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) is based on the 7th Pay Commission.

Pay Level-   Level-6

Basic Pay₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/-

In-Hand Salary (Approx.)₹52,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Allowances-DA, HRA, TA, Medical Allowance, LTC, PF, NPS, etc.
