MPSEB Forest & Jail Recruitment 2026- The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the official Rule Book for the Forest Department and Jail Department Direct Recruitment Examination 2026.

The recruitment includes posts of Forest Guard (Vanrakshak), Kshetra Rakshak, Jail Prahari, and Assistant Jail Superintendent.

The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

  • Reporting Time: 8:00 AM

  • Exam Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  Second Shift:

Forest Guard (Vanrakshak)

Pay Scale: ₹19,500 – ₹62,000

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination

• From Madhya Pradesh Board or any recognized board/institution

Candidate must possess the qualification on or before the last date of application.

Kshetra Rakshak (Field Guard – Forest Department)

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary)

• From a recognized board

Same minimum qualification standard as Forest Guard unless otherwise specified by department rules.

Jail Prahari (Jail Warder)

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary)

• From a recognized board

Physical standards and medical fitness are mandatory as per Jail Department norms.

Assistant Jail Superintendent

Educational Qualification:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation)

• From a recognized University

Degree must be completed before the last date of application.
