  • Graduation + D.El.Ed / BTC

  • OR Graduation + B.Ed

  • OR 12th with 50% + 4 Year B.El.Ed

 For Upper Primary Level (Class 6–8)

  • Graduation + B.Ed

  • OR Graduation + D.El.Ed

  • OR 12th with 50% + B.El.Ed / B.A B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed

Exam Pattern for UPTET 2026

Paper 1 (Class 1–5)

  • Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Marks

  • Language I (Hindi) – 30 Marks

  • Language II – 30 Marks

  • Mathematics – 30 Marks

  • Environmental Studies – 30 Marks
    👉 Total: 150 Marks

Paper 2 (Class 6–8)

  • Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Marks

  • Language I – 30 Marks

  • Language II – 30 Marks

  • Math & Science / Social Studies – 60 Marks
    👉 Total: 150 Marks

  • Duration: 150 Minutes (2.5 Hours)

  • Questions: 150 MCQs

  • General: 60% (90 Marks)
