1- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma. OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognized Board. OR

Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized Board.

2- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

3- Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary level

1- Notes:– Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC / ST / OBC / PH

  1. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the DSSSB / Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

  2. The Candidates not having essential qualification as exactly mentioned in the Recruitment Rules of the concerned post need not apply.

  • Identity Proof For Photo- Scanned Identity Proof should not be less than 15 kb and should not exceed 60 KB (PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Passport)

  • Scanned Photo- Guidance Given below:-

  • Photo identity card image: Must be a valid photo identity card clearly showing the all the details and photo of candidate.

  • Allowed Size: Size of file should be between 15kb – 60 kb and minimum resolution (width height): 300*200 pixels for PAN/DL, 200*300 pixels for Voter Card and 450×350 pixels for Passport.
