Indian Railways has issued an important recruitment update regarding Railway RRB Group D 2026 Level 1 CEN NO 09/2025 Notification 2025. As per the official Railway Board letter, a total of 22,000 vacancies have been approved for Level-1 categories under a centralized employment notification (CEN) for the year 2025.

These vacancies will be filled through Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) across different zones and production units.

Male Candidates

• Male Candidates Should be Lift and Carry 35 Kg, Weight for a Distance 100 Meters in 2 Minutes.
• 1000 Meters Running in 04 Minutes 15 seconds
• Only For One Chance 

Female Candidates

• Female Candidates Should be |Lift and Carry 20Kg Weight For a Distance 100 Meters in 2 Minutes.
• 1000 Meters Running in 05 Minutes 40 Seconds
• Only For One Chance.

 General Intelligence & Reasoning

• The Question Paper for Single Stage CBT will be of 90 minutes duration for 100 question and 120 minutes for pwBD candidates who are availing the Scribe facility.

• There will be  Negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Ther question papers shall be of objective multiple choice type with four options. Only one of these four options will be the correct answer. Language of question paper is English & Hindi.

Pay Scale & Mode of Selection 

• Pay Scale : Level -I 7 th CPC (Initial Pay:18000)
• Selection Process: Selection on basis of Online Exam (CBT)& PET ,DV& Medical Exam.

How to Apply for Railway RRB Group D Level -1 CEN NO. 09/2025

Step 1: Visit the official RRB website – https://www.rrbapply.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” link for RRB Group D Level-1 recruitment.

Step 3: Select “New Registration” and enter basic details like Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Date of Birth.

Step 4: After registration, note down the Registration ID and Password received on your mobile/email.

Step 5: Login using Registration ID and Password.

Step 6: Fill the online application form with required details such as:
Personal Details, Educational Qualification, Category, Address, RRB Zone Preference, and Post Preference.

Step 7: Upload scanned copies of required documents:
Photograph, Signature, Educational Certificates, and Category Certificate (if applicable).

Step 8: Pay the application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Step 9: Verify all the details carefully before submission.

Step 10: Click on “Final Submit” to complete the application process.

Step 11: Download and take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
