CGPSC SSE 2025 Exam Pattern (Prelims + Mains + Interview)
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
The CGPSC SSE Prelims exam consists of two compulsory papers, each of 2 hours duration. Both papers contain objective multiple-choice questions.
Each question has four options.
Negative Marking Rule

1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

2. Mains Examination (Written – Conventional Type)
The Mains exam includes 7 written papers, each descriptive (Long/Short/Medium answers).
Each paper carries 200 marks.
