Candidates applying for Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Recruitment 2025 must fulfill the post-wise educational qualification and experience requirements as mentioned below.

Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

Senior Ship Draftsman

(Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)

• Three-year Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from a State Board of Technical Education with minimum 60% marks

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in:

  • Shipyard

  • Engineering Company

  • Ship Design Company

  • Government / Semi-Government Organization

• Desirable: Experience in 3D modelling software such as Tribon, CADMATIC or other CAD software

Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical)

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Installation & commissioning of mechanical systems

  • Shipyard / Engineering Company / Govt. or Semi-Govt. organization

• Desirable Experience:

  • HVAC systems

  • Fire Fighting Systems

  • Cranes, Air Compressors, Pumps

  • Piping systems

Junior Technical Assistant (Electrical)

• Three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Installation & commissioning of electrical systems

• Desirable Experience:

  • PLC / SCADA / DCS systems

  • HT/LT switchgear panels

  • Power management systems

Junior Technical Assistant (Electronics)

• Three-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Installation & commissioning of control systems

  • Electronic systems

• Desirable Experience:

  • Electronics system manufacturing

  • Microprocessor-based embedded systems

  • Wireless communication systems

Junior Technical Assistant (Civil)

• Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Civil construction works

  • Maintenance of infrastructure projects

• Candidate must be computer savvy

Junior Technical Assistant (Instrumentation)

• Three-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Instrumentation works

  • Shipyard or Engineering Company

• Candidate must be computer savvy

Laboratory Assistant (Mechanical)

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering with minimum 60% marks

• Desirable Qualification:

  • Radiographer Certificate Level-I from BARC / PCN / ISNT / ASNT

  • Level-II qualification in any four NDT methods

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Testing Laboratory or

  • Quality Control activities

CSL Recruitment 2025 Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will get an attractive monthly salary ranging from:

₹41,055 to ₹42,773 per month
(Pay Scale: W6 & W7 – as per post)

Along with salary, candidates will also receive allowances and benefits as per CSL rules.

Selection Process

The selection process may include:
