UPPSC has released the UPPSC Technical Education Teaching Service Exam 2025 notification for various teaching posts under Technical Education Department, Uttar Pradesh. The online application will start from 02 December 2025. Candidates with prescribed qualifications can apply for Lecturer, Workshop Superintendent and other posts before the last date.

Application Fee

  • For Gen./ OBC/ EWS Candidates: Rs. 225/-

  • For  SC/ ST/Ex-Service men Candidates: Rs. 105/-

  • For PH Candidates: Rs. 25/-

  • Payment Mode- Online Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking

Age Limit as On 01 July 2025

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years

  • Maximum Age: 40 Years

  • PH Candidates: up to 55 years

  • Age Relaxation as per rules:

    • SC/ST/OBC/Skill players etc. = +5 years

    • PH = +15 years

    • Ex-servicemen = As per Govt norms

Eligibility (Qualification)

Qualification depends on the post, but mainly:

Lecturer (Engineering Subjects)

  • B.E. / B.Tech in relevant branch with First Class.

Lecturer (Non-Engineering Subjects)

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks in concerned subject.

Workshop Superintendent

  • B.E. / B.Tech with First Class + Experience (if required).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

  1. Written Examination

  2. Interview

  3. Document Verification

Final merit = Written Marks + Interview Marks

Important Requirements

  • OTR (One Time Registration) mandatory

  • OTR number required before applying

  • All certificates must be uploaded in prescribed format

  • Wrong or incomplete documents may lead to cancellation

UPPSC Technical Education Salary 2025

  • Lecturer: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (In-hand ₹70,000 – ₹90,000)

  • Assistant Professor: ₹68,900 – ₹2,05,500

  • HOD: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200

  • Workshop Superintendent: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500

  • Instructor / Foreman: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400

  • Clerk / Assistant: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300

All posts get DA, HRA, TA, PF & other UP Govt. allowances.

Paper 1 (व्याख्यान व कार्यशाला अधीक्षक हेतु)

1 – सामान्य हिंदी 25 प्रश्न (प्रत्येक 3 अंक) 75    
2 – मुख्य विषय (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Computer / IT / Electronics / Automobile / Textile / Chemical / Agriculture / Architecture / Plastic / Printing / etc.) 100 प्रश्न (प्रत्येक 3 अंक) 300 375 2 घंटे 30 मिनट

कुल प्रश्न – 125
कुल अंक – 375
प्रश्न बहुविकल्पीय (MCQ) होंगे

Paper 2 (व्याख्यान व कार्यशाला अधीक्षक हेतु)

व्यक्तित्व परीक्षा (इंटरव्यू)

  • कुल अंक: 100 Marks

Final Selection Based On:

Paper-1 + Paper-2 + Interview
= 375 + 375 + 100
= Total 850 Marks
